The Eagles Close Out Their Sphere Residency This Weekend
One of the most talked-about residencies in recent Las Vegas memory wraps its final weekend. The Eagles — the longest-running American rock band in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — play the final two shows of their Sphere Las Vegas residency tonight and tomorrow, April 10 and 11. The 18,000-capacity venue's wraparound LED display has been custom-programmed for the residency with footage shot across the American West, turning Hotel California and Take It Easy into visual experiences as much as musical ones.
The closing weekend is the last chance for fans to see the band inside Sphere's 16K-resolution immersive dome, and both nights are expected to be capped by extended encores and guest appearances. Carín León and Phish pick up the Sphere residency torch later this month, and Kenny Chesney's June run is already moving tickets fast.
If you're going: Sphere sits across from the Venetian on Sands Avenue, accessible via the Wynn tram or walking from the central Strip. Expect heavy traffic on both show nights. Merchandise queues form 90 minutes before doors.
